Bailey is a two year old Beagle cross. He is the youngest and the most spoilt member of the family.
We got him when he was about 4 months old about a year or so after our first dog Toby died. I spotted him amongst his brothers and sisters in the pet shop window and asked mum if we could get him and of course her answer was no. How did we end up with him then? You ask, well me being me…. I did not leave it there. He sat in the window as his brothers and sisters went to new homes. So I struck a deal with my parents – I would learn to drive (as I had previously refused for fear of pedestrians safety not to mention parked cars) if we could get that beautiful little puppy in the pet shop window. And now here we are, one and a half years later with the mischievous Bailey.
He is always doing something naughty to get our attention, but with a face like that he doesn’t stay in the bad books for long.
His favourite pastimes include
- Going to the beach
- Chewing on dad’s plants
- Digging in dad’s garden
- Waking me up at 3am
- Snuggling on the couch
- “Helping” mum cook
- Chewing on old, dirty, festy rawhide chews
- Easting ( of course)
- Sleeping (when not eating)
- Not to mention stealing dad’s smelly socks….
