I would like to thank Werner Lamkemeyer, President of the German Malay Club and Willem van Ballekom, Secretary of the Asian Gamefowl Society
for all the help and support they have given us in our quest for knowledge on Asian Gamefowl.
With the help of these men we have been able to provide several world wide
Asian gamefowl sites on the Internet for all to use and become more
knowledgeable of the Asian fowl. The communications that have developed on
behalf of Asian Gamefowl have truly been world wide and a credit to the men
and Organizations they represent.
The communications that have developed between the United States and Europes Asian Gamefowl breeders have
affected the breeders in this country to look at Asian fowl in a renewed and even more favorable
light. With the promotion of the AGS of La. Events the realization of beauty
and ability of the Asian fowl have been once more reinforced.
I would also like to thank all who supported, helped, worked and urged on
the development of these Events. Credit is also due my fellow AGS member,
Paul "Nite Owl" Hulin, for his tireless efforts in the promotion of Asian
Gamefowl and AGS events. The 1998 AGS of La. Marsh Memorial "Louisiana Hot"
Event was a great success, an awakening on many levels for the people who
attended and also for those who were unable to be there but visited the site
provided on the Internet.
The "Louisiana Hot" Events were started to promote our gamefowl with the traits
that they were bred for generation after generation. Traits of courage and
ability that caused the men who watched them to stand in awe, because these
creatures were unwavering in the spirit of gameness and courage. The single most
evident trait that sets our fowl apart from every other species is gameness,
it's not something that we can place on paper, it's not something that we
can simply say and make it appear, it's something that must be carried
down generation after generation.
