As of this year, 2000, Girl Guides of Canada is a 90 year old tradition in Canada. This unique organization challenges girls to be honest and trustworthy, to use resources wisely, to respect self and others, to recognize and use talents and abilities, to protect our common environment, to live with courage and strength and to share in the sisterhood of Guiding. Guiding is open to every girl and woman in the community. Girls can join Guiding at any age, without having belonged before.
