Lingerie Trends for

the turn of the century, the term Lingerie
doesn’t just imply underwear, bra’s, nightgowns or sleepwear. In recent
years, Lingerie seems
to have taken on a name of its own; sexy, seductive, romantic, lace,
see thru, erotic, exotic and many other fun analogies. Lingerie now
could imply: Corsets, Bustiers, Bodystockings, Leather, Gowns, Robes,
Open Bust Bras, See Thru Bras, and even Sexy Halloween Costumes as Lingerie
. Today, for a woman to enter a hot nightclub
wearing just a sexy camisole is definitely the trend for “Clubwear
Lingerie” in 2005. One can walk into just about any store from Walmart
to Chico’s and find Lingerie , not just in the
"Lingerie" sections, but also in the Misses & Junior Wear sections
of the stores. Yes, Lingerie
is not just for the
bedroom anymore. Sexy Lingerie is now worn to night
clubs, restaurants & parties. Not just under clubwear, but as
Clubwear!
Lingerie used to
be what was worn under your clothes, but oh how times have changed.
Open Bust Bra? What’s that purpose? Well, certainly not to cover the
breasts! Lingerie is
now fun, sexy, romantic, seductive, hot, silk, satin, lace, cotton,
erotic, exotic and yes, even comfortable (well, some of it anyway)!
There are many ways to describe Lingerie in
the Year 2005.
Whatever your style or reason for wearing Lingerie, there is definitely something for everyone (and I do mean everyone, men included)! That’s right, now men’s Lingerie is hotter than ever. I actually bought my husband Lingerie for Valentine’s Day this year. Although the lip print cotton boxer shorts were far from “hot & sexy”, he loved them. So women, don’t forget your significant other when it comes to buying Lingerie, because there are many choices today when it comes to men’s Lingerie . There are Leather G-Strings & Leather Harnesses (wow!) to silk boxers and briefs to elephant thongs and moo cow g-strings. Elephant Thongs? Yes, you heard right! Men’s Lingerie is far from the stone-age era and continues to become more popular every year. Maybe men are getting more in touch with their feminine side! One can only hope ;) In
short, Lingerie is no longer confined to an “undergarment” term.
Lingerie is more sexy than ever with more choices than one can imagine.

Thongs are
underwear minus the back, well, almost all of the back. They cover the
front like normal underwear, are usually bikini or string style across
the sides (hips), and in the back, instead of the fabric covering your
entire hips, there is a thin strip or string of fabric that goes
between the cheeks. In many parts of the world, the more commonly
used word is T-back because of the shape at the back.
There is always a debate about the comfort factor of
T-backs. One lady tell us, "I've been wearing thongs for several years
now. I think they are extremely comfortable and wouldn't wear anything
else (except that certain time of the month). I think the silky ones
are a little more comfortable than the cotton, but that's just me. I
got used to mine day one. I figured I might as well wear a pair of
panties that go up my rear because they are supposed to; bikini panties
always ended up there anyway." However, not everyone has the same
experience. It depends on hip shape and the design of the thong.
One reader informs, "I am about ready to give up my quest to wear a thong. I must just not have the right kind of cheeks. I tried the silky ones... but still not very comfortable. I tried a spandex and cotton one and was still not comfortable. And this week I tried a microfiber one which was very soft but after about 3 hours I couldn't take it anymore. I went ahead and wore it all day....but I could not wait to get it off. Recently, I ordered a G-string and a thong which both seem very comfortable and lacy but I have not tried wearing them all day. I think that you need to choose the time and the place and then wear it.
You can get used to
thongs a long-time T-back user advises, "It really
depends on the thong you choose to wear. I have a thong that is all
lace and the back of it is sort of a folded mesh that is almost as good
as wearing nothing at all. It depends a lot on the fabric, the cut, and
whether or not it really fits right. The solution is to find one that
is right for you. Another user recommends, "I like catching a
breeze when I am wearing a skirt, and I also like the feel of the
material rubbing up against my bare rear. I don't really like the silky
ones, and find they ride up a lot more than the cotton ones. A
great feeling is to combine a thong with thigh highs. Is analysis of
the popularity of thongs, we have had several reports from other
members how they also like thongs and have also seen other people using
them in recent years. One lady writes, "I almost gave up using thongs
after I got married since I no longer needed to have the discomfort of
using them. However, after seeing some of the newer designs, I am
starting to use them again since.
I no longer feel uncomfortable in them It appears that sales of
panties and regular underwear are either flat or declining while sales
of thongs are booming. No matter how big your hips are, this is thong
time. The lingerie companies are coming out with hundreds of design
since these are so cheap to make (the amount of fabric seems to reduce
with every new design. One young woman from California writes,
"Monica Lewinsky gave us the courage to use them once again. Hey! The
President of United States liked them!" Then one of the most
popular songs has been the "Thong Song" by Sisquo (It made a star out
of him). Thus, thongs are now everyday underwear for most women. A
recent report says that Victoria's Secret sold more than 20 million
thongs. Does it have something to do with the popularity of Brazilian
models in the fashion world? Watching some of the recent music videos,
one can definitely see the impact of all those women with gorgeous
bodies walking on the beach in thong underwear.
