Nicola Dante (Deceased) – Sister of Nicolas Dante, bastard member of the Romanov family. Nicola rose to the rank of lawmistress partially through accident but she began to fit well into her role. On the second day of the 2005 festival her body was found beheaded outside of the taverna the Romanov's were running. Her killer has yet to be found and she had been dead for some time before anyone discovered her body. An attempt at healing was made and failed. Her death is being investigated.
Nicolas Dante – Brother of Nicola Dante, bastard member of the Romanov family. He is the superior gentry with a roguish manner. His main thoughts are of himself, money, and getting laid. Not prone to acts of heroism, Nicolas does have a soft spot for occasional acts of romantism or kindness.
Grigori Romanov – Technically Grigori is the head of the family, he is the most senior of the royal blood and the guard are named after him. Up until Nicola's death she pretty much ran the show and afterwards others vied for that place. There are rumours that Grigori is insane, but he's always come across as a kindly, if quiet man to Neave. On the rare occasions he does fight, be it with enemies, friends, or family, he is quick to shoot and slow to calm.
Alexander Romanov (Deceased) – One of the last to join the camp, he was quiet, conservative, and seemed to have plans of his own. He talked rarely, but when he did it was mostly to calm his family, except in the instance with Orion. Alexander died the following year, most do not know how. Neave witnessed his death first hand at the hands of a drow, but she has rarely spoken on the matter.
Taylen (Deceased) - Taylen the elf camps close to the Romanov's and shares the road with them. He is a ranger/scout/herbalist archer as far as Neave has seen. He is a generally quiet elf, but he seems animated and interested when talking to other elves. Taer'lyen died in the battlefields of Lyonesse protecting the rear of the Cornovii Irregulars as they fought their way through the woodlands to make an escape at the ritual circle. So close to freedom, he let up his guard and was taken by a sneak attack. He will be remembered.
Edmund A Wodwose - arrived the sunday night and camped with the Romanov's. He was the one who staked the vampire orion when he went out of control around the campfire. Hard to understand, but seems generally friendly. Edmund was not at the festival this year, if he was then he was very quiet about it.
Major Shotabolakov - The major is in charge of the Grigorian Guard. He is a competent leader and has some knowledge of healing. The major has been a part of the Romanov faction for some years but only really surfaced in the last two as someone that Neave noticed. This year he was injured in battle so he was not seen around as often as he might have been.
Dimitri Romanov - Dimitri arrived late at the festival, the first time Neave encountered him it was over the body of Corporal Ski as he cried out for someone to heal him. A noble born of the royal line, Dimitri was cast out of his family after being bitten by a werewolf and infected with the curse. He has only recently met up with them again after the death of Nicola.
Private Vladimir Krapotkin - Was not present this year but did attend the festival the year before.
Corporal Ski - Corporal Ski was seen wandering around the campfire with a gun in one hand and cider in the other oft times during the festival. He acted in a scatty manner and this was excused by his colleagues as a result of the horrors of war numbing and warping his mind.
Corporal Boris Johnson - Boris Johnson is one of many of his family members who signed up to the Grigorian guard willing and happy to die in the service of the Romanov cause. Although he comes across as quite docile and some may say a little dim, when push comes to shove Johnson has some ideas of tactics and a good deal of honour - a dangerous combination.
Sgt Ivan Itchynuts. - Itchynuts is a dedicated soldier with a polite manner. He has worked his way up from a private and married once more his wife, Nibble Me Johnson.
Dave the worm - Other than being a worm that can speak, Neave is not entirely sure what this worm does within the faction - but they got married so they must be doing something right.
Sister Emmanuelle Worm Fixation - A nun that appeared first at this years festival and apparently married Dave the worm.
Kiev - Kiev has been the Romanovs cook since they arrived in Cornovii and possibly before that. His cuisine is .... well, 'renowned' for want of a better word. As ogres go he doesn't generally come across as fiercesome but he can handle himself in a fight if needs be.
Nibble Me Johnson - Assumably related to one or the other of the Johnsons - though who knows with a family this size, Nibble Me is the wife of Ivan Itchynuts who also married Nicolas Dante this festival. She is sometimes seen working at the local taverna.
Private Ivan Johnson - Ivan Johnson followed the tradition of his family and joined the Grigorian Guard. His main duties included protecting the royal family, in particular Nicolas Dante over the last few seasons. Out of the male members of his family, Ivan is by far the most intelligent and together -how much this says is not something Neave is willing to speculate too far on. She feels some kinship with the Johnson family after their wanderings in search of the General.
Neave Clear Flint - Neave arrived in Cornovii with the Romanovs and when she is not in the area doing her healing duties or visiting her husband she can be found working alongside or socialising with the Romanovs. She also travels with them most times when they journey out of the area.
Katarina Dante (the pirate queen) - Katarina is the mother of Nicola and Nicolas Dante. Although Neave has likely seen her on her travels with the Romanovs, it was only after the death of her daughter Nicola that Neave first encountered her in the lands of Cornovii. A capable pirate, and captain of an all female crew, Katarina is seeking the answers to her daughters death while trying to take in being related to a potentially evil dragon. She does not get on as well with the Romanovs as the other Dantes in her family.
