People in the family have differing levels of ability and are aged 8 to 65.
Jeanette has fostered many children over the years. She has adopted a lot of these. She has also taken in some adults with a learning disability who will need a home for life.
Some of the other adults here are Joyce, Karen, Sheila and Heather.
We live together and help each other, whatever our abilities.
We have had some hard times recently but they have only made us stronger.
We live at the Old Convent in Essex. We have a large house and other buildings, and a big garden. We have ducks, doves, dogs, fish, hamsters and budgies. Older members of the family live elsewhere but visit regularly with their families.
