29.1.1 Desiring to take the world and do it (as you desire),
my view (is that) this can not be (done).
29.1.2 The world (is) a form of the Divine,
(that you) can not do (as you desire).
29.1.3 Those who do (as they desire will) spoil it.
Those who (try to) catch hold (of it will) lose it.
29.2.1 So things may be (taken as) going (by themselves) or following (your desire).
29.2.2 (Like) either blow breath to warm (hands) or blow (to cool things).
29.2.x {Or be strong or weak.}
29.2.3 Or (take it as) heaped earth or fallen city mounds.
29.3 This is why the sage departs from indulgence (in pleasure between men and women),
departs from extravagance (and) departs from easefulness.
