Jesus Christ (Isa) (a.s.)
The Birth of Jesus (a.s.)

Allah says in the Quran: "And mention in the Book, Mary, when she withdrew from her people to a place in the East. And she placed a veil to screen herself from them; then We sent to her Our Spirit (Angel Gabriel a.s.), and he appeared to her in the form of a human in all respects.

She said: 'I seek refuge in the Most Gracious (Allah) from you, if you fear Him.' He said: 'I am only  messenger from your Lord, to announce to you the gift of a son most pure.' She said: 'How shall I have a son, when no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?' He said: 'So it will be, your Lord said: That is easy for Me, and We shall make him a sign to the people, and a mercy from Us, and it is a matter which has been decreed."' (Maryam 19:16-21).

Allah said that the birth of Jesus was a sign of the Omnipotence of Allah, and that He creates what he wants without the phenomenon of cause and effect. He had created Adam before without father and mother, and created Eve out of a man with no mother, and now He was going to create Jesus out of a woman without a father.

When the Pregnancy was noticable everyone was astonished and amazed, she said:
"Allah has given me '
glad tidings of a Word from Him, his name is the Messiah Jesus the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter, and of those nearest to Allah. He shall speak to the people when in the cradle and in manhood, and he shall be from the righteous."' (3:45,46)
Does God need a Son?

Allah says in the Quran: "And they say: 'Allah the Most Gracious has begotten a son.' Indeed, you have made an adominable assertion." (Maryam 19:88,89).

This is such an unjust and grave claim that:
"At it the skies are about to burst, and the earth to split asunder, and the mountains crumble down crashing; for that they have attributed to the Most Gracious a son. There is none in the heavens and the earth, but comes to the Most Gracious as a slave." (Maryam 19:90-93)

Allah has refuted the claim of those who attribute such fallacy to Him in these Verses. All the existence belongs to Allah, because he is the Creator and so He has got no son or partner in His Divinity.

Allah also says in the Quran: "And they ascribe to Allah as associates the jinn, while He created them, and out of their ignorance, they impute to Him sons and daughters. Glory be to Him! High Exalted is He above what they ascribe! The Originator of the heavens and the earth, how can He have a son, when He has no consort, and He creates all things, and He is the All-Knowing of all things. This is God your Lord, there is no God (worthy of worship) but He, the creator of all things, therefore worship Him, and He is the Trustee of all things. (Al-Anam 6:100-102).

Then Allah, after He refuted the unjust claim of the Christians and others, refuted the heresy and unwise phenomena of inventing beliefs that are not in accord with the true Divine guidance and teaching. Allah says:
"O people of the earlier Scripture! Do not go to extremes in your religion, nor say of Allah anything but the truth, most surely, Jesus the son of Mary was no more than a Messenger of Allah, and His Word which he bestowed on Mary, and a spirit created by Him. So believe in Allah and His Messengers, and do not say: 'trinity', desist, it is better for you, most surely Allah is One God, glory be to Him! High Exalted is He above having a son. What is in the heavens and on the earth belongs to Allah, and Allah suffices as a Trustee."
(An-Nisa 4:171).

The Excellance of Jesus (a.s.)
Jesus could heal the sick, cure the leper, and cure many other medical problems. He could also walk on water. Most amazingly he could revive the Dead. All by the Will of Allah, all praises be unto Him.
Return of Jesus (a.s.)
The Prophet (s.a.w.) said that Jesus will return to the Earth, when judgement day is near. In a Hadith, Abu Hurairah (r.a.a.) said that the Prophet (s.a.w.) said: "He will stay for forty years on the earth." He will descent on the white minaret in Damascus after the morning prayer had been called. The Imam will offer him to lead the prayer. He will say: "No! Some of you are leaders of each other.' Allah's honour for this Ummah." According to another version Jesus would say: "The prayer is called for you," and then he will pray behind the Imam, then he will rise alongside with other Muslims, and go in pursuit of Dajjal, he will find him and kill him with his hand.

Imam Bukhari narrated from Salman, who said: The period between Jesus and Muhammad, peace be upon them, is six hundred years.
