| INEXPENSIVE TOYS Flashlight: Shine the light on the floor, move the beam around and your cat go crazy chasing it. Children's soap bubbles: Blow bubbles into the air for your cat to catch. Wands: Make a wand with a stick and any or all brightly coloured feathers, ribbons or yarn. If you use ribbons, make sure you put the wand out of reach after play - if the ribbon were swallowed, it could damage the intestines. Open paper bags, empty cardboard boxes, crumpled paper, ping-pong balls, empty spools, brightly coloured shoe laces. |
| Training Tools "No-No" can: Empty soda can with a few coins inside and duct tape it closed. Shake when cat is acting in an unacceptable manner. Spray bottles, crumpled foil and balloons placed on areas you want to remain cat free can also be effective. |
