PLL 858 Modification
1)  Find pin 19 on the bottom side of the 858 PLL chip.  Cut the trace going to this pin.
2)  Solder a 4.7k resistor across the cut trace.
3)  Find pin 21 and cut the trace going to this pin.
4)  Install a center-off type SPDT  and a SPST switch somewhere on the radio.
5)  Solder wires as shown above.


With switch 1 up and switch 2 on center, you'll have regular CB channels.

With switch 1 up and switch 2 up, you'll have 27.455 to 27.805 on channels 8-40.

With switch 1 up and switch 2 down, you'll have 27.855 to 28.005 on channels 8-20.

With switch 1 down and switch 2 up, you'll have 26.455 to 26.805 on channels 8-40.

With switch 1 down and switch 2 down, you'll have 26.855 to 26.955 on channels 8-16.

With switch 1 down and switch 2 on center, you'll have 26.085 to 26.450 on channels 11-40.
