1. My mother and I originally accepted Christ on the same day.
2. I stopped going to church when I was fourteen.
3. I went back to church when I was twenty and rededicated my life to Christ when I was twenty-one.

5. My facial hair grows so quickly, I have been jokingly told that I am an argument for evolution.

9. I met my first wife on the internet. I've known my current wife since I was fifteen years-old.

12. I've been so drunk, that I tried to urinate off of the balcony of a hotel room.
13. I've only been in one fist fight in my adult life. I was drunk.
14. Though I do not agree with the lifestyle (for biblical reasons), the best man at my first wedding was a homosexual. Ironically, I am now married to his stepsister.
15. As an adolescent, I was a liberal Democrat.
16. I am now a conservative who mostly votes Republican.
17. My favorite class in high school was science.
18. I hate math.
19. My high school English teacher taught us grammar rules that were incorrect, by the standards of every college professor that I have ever had.
20. I liked my high school science teacher and speech teacher enough to base characters off of them in Book One.
21. My major has changed from Biology to English education, then to Creative Writing.
22. My minor was Religious Studies.
23. I dislike sports.
24. So that all of you know, I am NOT a martial artist, though having people assume that I am, based on my writing, is an honor.
25. I dated a witch once. I made the mistake of trying to "missionary date."
26. I am a "Charismatic" Baptist (sometimes referred to as a "continuationist") who is married to a quiet Southern Baptist.
27. I am double-jointed.

30. I wore glasses until I was twenty-two. They were extremely thick-lensed by then, so I switched to contact lenses.
31. My contact lenses irritate my eyes so much, they tend to make me look like I am on drugs. I recently switched back to glasses. With modern technology, they aren't so thick anymore.
32. I used to be a cat lover. I like small dogs now.
33. I've never broken a bone (yet). I'm told that being double-jointed makes it more difficult.UPDATE: I cracked a rib in December of 2008.
34. Originally, I based the characters of Adventure off of people that I know. Yoshi is the only exception.
35. Yoshi is my favorite character from my books.
36. I love to read fantasy and science fiction. I also love to read horror, though I can't write it very well.
37. I have been held at gun-point for over three hours by an intoxicated friend.
38. I am against gun control, although I do not own a gun myself.

40. My late father was a mechanic. His brothers have all been mechanics. So was their father. I can barely check my oil.

42. My favorite soda is Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper, which has a great deal of caffeine.
43. I try to get up at around 5:00 AM just to make sure that I have time to pray and write every morning.
44. Spider-Man is my favorite super hero.
45. I took "Life Sports" in high school for my P.E. credit. It was made especially for non-athletic students and we learned to play chess, "Spades", darts, "Uno", etc..
46. I cannot swim.
47. I am a hydrophobic.
48. I am also an acrophobic.
49. I hate to shave. My beard grows back so quickly, I often wonder why I bother.
50. I've never been hunting. I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger.
51. I hate to fish.
52. I am obsessive-compulsive, though not to the extent of the main character from the series Monk.
53. Monk is one of my favorite shows.
54. I have become a fan of Kirk Cameron since he has switched to playing in Christian movies and shows. His partner, Ray Comfort is one of my heroes in the faith.
55. I play Dungeons & Dragons with several Christian friends.
