| THE FIREFIGHTER'S PRAYER When I am called to duty, God, where ever flames may rage, give me the strength to save some life whatever be it's age. Help me embrace a little child before it's too late, or save an older person from the horror of that fate. Enable me to be alert and hear the weakest shout, and quickly and efficiently to put the fire out. I want to fill my calling and give the best in me, to guard my every neighbor and protect his property. And if according to your plan I am to lose my life please bless with your protecting hand my children and my wife. |
| Welcome to our families website. There have been a lot of changes since the beginning of 2005. On May 13, 2005 I graduated from Ashmead College and now have my Massage Practitioners license. Then in June of 2005 my husband went back to school to get his CDL license. The idea of changing our careers has been in the works for about 10 years now; the ultimate goal is to eventually move to the state of Montana. We were planning on moving to Montana this year, but instead we decided to hold off for one more year. My husband has been dreaming of driving and owning his own Peterbuilt since he was 8 years old. After some calculated risk decisions, we bought a Pete. WOW! DREAMS DO COME TRUE. Next year we'll make another dream come true by moving to Montana. That is when I'll begin my Massage Practice. The sad thing though was my husband had to give up volunteering for the fire department; for now anyway. However we still hold our fire / EMT brothers and sisters close to our hearts. |
