Assignment: pretend that you are a new up-and-coming artist. (Hey, this is fantasy-lets have fun!) You have been contacted by the New York Museum of Art--they are considering displaying some of your work. You want your work to stand apart from others so you decided to frame your work with an interesting and unusual type of frame.
Using the techniques covered in this week's lesson using the Push Tool and Clone Tool, put together a portfolio of at least two examples of your framed artwork. As always, feel free to do as many examples as you wish, but only two are required for the assignment.

Hi Folks,

Welcome to Week Three of the April Self Learning Programme. There were no Sessions last week. You will find attached both Thursday's and Saturday's online study session logs. The reason being, different questions are asked and hopefully provide more insight for you.

I hope every one enjoyed using the retouch and clone tools to enhance your paintings.

For those of you who couldn't make it (or wish to do it again *G*), you can find the online tutorial here:
http://www.pspug.org/edu/tuts/pushtoolgraphics.htm

The image used can be obtained at: http://www.pspug.org/edu/tuts/rose3copy.jpg

Your assignment for this week is to pretend: You are a new up-and-coming artist. (Hey, this is fantasylets have fun!)
You have been contacted by the New York Museum of Art--they are considering displaying some of your work.

Once you have completed your assignment, post your homework on your web pages. Then go to http://www.pspug.org/edu/slp/ to see who your facilitator is and click on their name to send them an email, stating you have completed your assignment.
Be sure to include your nickname, url and the week of the assignment (eg: April week 3), so your facilitator can get back to you with comments. ;o)

Next week's session will cover making a picture frame using PSP 6.

A reminder that the Display Case is available to show off your work if you like. You can find out more about that by going to http://pspug.org/edu/case/display.htm

Happy Creating!
