| August 5, 2003 Hey, what's up? Updating is being done on the site today..be sure and check out the Uncle Fezter featured artist interview and article, as well as this guy's heavy guitar playing at his site at www.unclefezter.com..Tell him Holly sent ya! keep on sending me your cool band and resource links. I really dig checking them out and sharing them with as many folks as possible. Bare wiith me on getting e-mails answered..I have been without a computer (yes Again!) and also just moved (yes Again!) so I am gradually getting everything caught up as fast as possible. | NOVEMBER 1st, 2003 Hey! Well if you are reading this, you figured out a way to get to this site without the .com name!. I've been without a computer for the last few months, so updating the site has been impossible. Also during this time I didn't get a notice to update the .com and lost that as well. I have a computer again so updating and work on the site will begin shortly. In the meantime, while I get the .com back and also look for a better host, the only way to access this site is through geocities.com/backbeat63strat or a better way is through btof.rocks.it..To all the e-mail requests for links or exchanges, I will begin answering those in the next few days..Hope I didn't lose too many of you in this process. | November 15th, 2003 Hello! Check out this month's featured artist FLIGHT16 formerly known as My Santuary. An excellent band from England that is well on their way to becoming a national act. The vocals are reminiscent of a young Ozzy and the music kicks some serious A !!. These guys are definately worth checking out! I want to thank the new BTOF forum admin. Nick (aka Icepick) for the great remodeling job on the messageboard, and welcome the new members as well. The site should have the .com name back soon and pick up where we left off, hopefully with a new site layout also..The Independent Promotion Webring is doing well with over 10 new sites added this month so far. Thanks everyone for your loyal support of the site in spite of our lack of presence on the web following our loss of the bandsthrivingonfans.com domain. | January 08, 2004 Hi everyone, what's up? Not too much going on here yet.. I'm spending my free time getting work done on ndmusepromotions.tk. The messageboard here is losing in the competition with the new site's board, so drop in sometime and check it out! Shane Henry, one of my favorite artists is getting ready to release a new cd in April featuring Kenny Wayne Sheppard and Double Trouble.. it promises to be worth the wait! I am working on a new interview with him at present and it will be posted soon and he will again be the Featured Artist for BTOF. Thanks for stopping by and I'll have more new stuff coming here soon! | Feb 23rd Hey everyone! The BTOF site is being redone and will be moved to another host lthe first week of March. I've been having some probs getting the bandsthrivingonfans.com name back because some idiot got it and btof.com and .net as well. I haven't decided what I want to do with the name but I will have the new url listed on this site's intro page when I move the site. Thanks for the emails and I will get the new links added in the next day or two. I have added some new ones today on the cool links page, so check 'em out. I deleted the NDMP forums because I really want to consolidate everything back to one site, so please stop in and post in the BTOF forums from now on.. The big news is the new BandsThrivingOnFans radio station. Live streaming radio, All unsigned..All the time! Chris is doing all the work on this (Thanks for the fabulous job Chris! :)) and goes on live each night at 8:00 pm central time. We are experimenting with playing tunes 24/7 as of today, so be sure to listen when you get the chance. | March 10th The new dot coms have been purchased and the new sites should be completed and up (finally) within the next few days! I will post the new urls for this site and the radio station here asap! Thanks to the great folks that have contributed equipment and funds towards the radio and this site.
