The majestic building on top of the hill is Dartmouth Royal Naval College and was, as one can imagine, an ideal target for the German fighter-bombers that flew in off the Channel. As mentioned in the Brixham section of the website, I was told a little story by Ron Coleman about an attack upon the college. Below the college is Dartmouth town (the photo, incidently, was taken from Kingswear).
