This is a photograph of the valley that leads down from the very top of Brixham to Galmpton Creek. I was informed by Ron that the ME 109s or Focke Wolfe's would use this valley as an alternate way to Dartmouth instead of approaching from the mouth of the Dart - which is defended by the Kingswear Coastal battery.
The fighters would fly over Brixham, then hug the valley as they sped in to attack before dropping their bombs and shooting off back out towards the Channel.
