Why is there SOMETHING
Rather than NOTHING?
This question has always haunted me, and will, I suppose, for as long as I am conscious and sentient. This was a site for my poetry, but I have recently published a book of poetry entitled Broken Circle: Epistles of the Stranger. For any who might be interested in purchasing my book and thus helping an obscure and struggling poet, I will include links below to various bookstores where it may be purchased.
What is the original cause and primary mover for the postmodernist world? What can it mean when there is no meaning? When the circle is broken and all absolutes are dispossessed and all movement is an errant straying that has no beginning and leads nowhere? That is where we are, is it not? Groping in a murky twilight not knowing what we reach for? After Deconstruction is there need of Reconstruction? After Postmodernism is there need of Neo-modernism or something else? What? What else but inevitable and senseless extinction can await a world that admits only and holds only to the transient? A world that has no Eternal, no relation to an Eternal or an Absolute? I think that any thinking person would sooner or later be forced to ask such questions if one cannot stay sheltered within his or her necessary distractions.
For those who have any interest in reading some of my poetry online, I recommend the new site that was constructed for me by John Williams. That site may be accessed by following the link below:
