Her family died in Aizu and she was the only surviving member.
Equipment: medicical tools "If you give up like you did before, I will not put up with you." The foxy lady
doctor who works for Doctor Genzai (in the anime). Megumi is the daughter
of Takani Ryusei, a famous doctor of Aizu. After her family died in the
war against Aizu, she worked for a doctor who was later found out to be
making illegal opium for an evil businessman named Kanryuu. After the doctor
was killed by Kanryuu, she was forced to make opium in his place. Megumi
is rescued by the Kenshin-gumi. In order to atone for her sins, Megumi
uses her medical knowledge to save people's lives.
