Fountain Color Changing Lights

This project was designed for a college fountain. There are four different watercolor lights, As Red, green, yellow and blue. These lights give eight different color combination effects, when glows alone or with their adjacent lights. In the group of two these lights give combined color effects. Delay in between color change is pre-defined once on PCB, as half minute or one minute by a jumper. More bulbs can be added with same color or different color to give more combined effect. IC ULN2804 has built in diode for the relay, which save IC by damaging due to high fly back voltage. ULN2003 can be used instead of ULN2804.

Warning!!!

Care should be taken as  220 volts AC voltage presence in the  control circuit.

Be careful, watercolor lights should have special water proof housing that is intensively sealed. Any leakage of water inside the housing may cause serious electric shock of 220 Volts ac and cause fatal to life. So it suggested if you are not familiar to High Voltage circuits Don’t try use the high voltage out put circuit , If you still want to try then consider the other alternative out put circuits of high intensity LEDs in group.

LEDs Arrangement for the out put Circuits

High intensity four different color LEDs can be used either for controller Testing   the circuits or for for joiners to try. four LEDs are grouped to increase intensity of colors.
