INSTALLATION [The following is contained in README.TXT within the zip file.] – First, you'll need to Unzip with WinZip. –
Copy the files EKGSS.SCR and RHYTHMS.DLL to the "Windows"
directory (e.g., \windows) of Microsoft Windows 3.1/95. From the
Windows "Control Panel" (in "Main" group), run the "Desktop"
setup applet. From the "Name" list box under the "Screen Saver"
section, select "EKG". If "EKG" does not appear in the list, the
files have not been correctly copied to the Windows directory. Select "Erase screen after sweep" to blank the screen after each complete screen sweep. Select this option if you are to employ the software for screen saver purposes for any length of time. Note, however, that the software is NOT intended for use as a screen saver over long periods of time. Finally, "Password Protect" and "Set Password" options are provided for password protecting the screen saver. Their use is self evident.
