Teraflex 3T lift and BFG Mud Tires
I thought long and hard about which lift kit to install.

I knew I wanted the Rancho 9000X shocks for sure.

Here is why I picked the 3T kit.
1. Easy to install (It took me every bit of 10 hours to do it by myself, but the biggest problem was not the kit, it was the bolts that were rusted in place.)
2. The spring rate is just slightly higher than stock (160 pounds stock, 170 with the kit)
3. Every document and book I have ever read says that 3" is about the most you can go with changing drivesaft length, control arms, and all the rest.
4. Teraflex is a reputable manufacture doing TJ lifts since the beginning.
5. When I found the 3T kit with 9000X shocks at Sam's Offroad for $640.00 it sealed the deal.

So far I am very impressed with the ride and the look.  I did have to buy a new Rancho 5000S steering stabilizer to help control the bigger tires.

The BFG's were a great pick of tires.  If you were scared about buying an aggresive tread tire because you drive on the road most of the time, don't be, and go buy them right now.

They ride better than my old all terrain tires and are quieter as well, they are GREAT!  (Only $700.00 at Costco)

I chose the 32" because you can keep the factory rims and most litature indicates that is all the Dana 35 axle can stand up to.
