The Rest of the Story |
After the test drive we were very surprised how well it handled and how nice it rode.
We have been driving trucks for years and this is not much of a switch. Did we need another vehicle? Of course not. The first rule of Jeep ownership is: 1. Jeeps are not practical vehicles |

In fact after you buy one you will be surprised to discover either you are the type of person who fabricates
practicality or you sell it. (Buyer Beware) A Jeep is not your regular
SUV it comes with a lifestyle change that many drivers cannot handle.
I, on the otherhand invent practicality. For example: - A Jeep is a truck with the bed cut off - It is remarkably fun to drive. (This is the first vehicle we have ever owned that we cruise in for fun, our dog digs riding in the back as well. My wife likes the roll cage and the fact the dog is inside it, strapped in, ofcourse.) - It combines a regular vehicle with an ATV, it works both on and off road. - Jeeps are the greatest convertibles on earth. (Combined with a bikini top you get the open air experience without getting melted in the direct sunlight, you may not think that would be a problem till you get an convertible and a sun burn on top of your head.) |
Second Rule: 2. There is very little storage space in a Jeep. Some folks will argue this fact but, truth be told it is not the storage you are used to having with other vehicles. (Especially with the back seat in) Unless you drive a BMW Z4 then it is more! Here are things that are great about Jeeps that you won't read anywhere else: - They have very durable interiors and are easy to clean. - You can buy more accessories for your Jeep than Barbie has. |

-- Jeeps are highly customizable, some suck and some are great, the owner is responsible
for the outcome. Don't think Jeeps suck if you see a crappy one, it
is actually the owner who sucks. - High reliablity, the engine is very duraable and has not changed in years. - Great seats, body hugging design. - They turn super sharp and park almost anywhere. - With the top off you will enjoy the sounds and smells of nature. (Can be good or bad, mostly good) - Good safety rating if you have the full doors, half doors, not so good. Buying a Jeep will change your life if you let it. You will become a Jeep junkie of sorts. It is OK since there is probably a Jeep Club in your area, sign up for the consoling you require. |
