Learning Opportunities

I provide theme-based learning opportunities for the children at Small Wonders Daycare.
We currently spend about two weeks on each theme
 doing work sheets, reading books related to our theme & making crafts.

We begin our learning experience with Circle time. It's fun way to start our structured activity time. We sing our ABC's & the days of the week. We watch the weather and report it each morning. We also keep our calendar updated.

Other circle time activities will include  introduction to letters & numbers , shapes & colors. We work on  recognizing our names and words we use every day.

Our themes are limited to the months of Sept thru May. When summer arrives we enjoy playing out side and learning about nature.

 Summer is for the children to enjoy and just be a kid!
