| Sailor Moon is a japanese anime show that has been playing in Japan for about 6 years. It's has been dubbed and played in America for a little less that that. There are several series. (Sailor Moon, R, S, and SuperS. Also Sailor Stars that doesnt play in America) The story revolves around Serena (nicknamed Bunny) a young girl that finds a talking cat, Luna, and discovers she has been reborn into the 20th century to help fight evil and change the fate on the Silver Millennium. (Silver Millineium is a place on the moon, not a time period!) She discovers she is Sailor Moon, destined to be Queen Serenity, ruler of the moon kingdom. Her previous life in the 30th century ended in a tragic love-story, and her mother used all her power to rebirth her and her Sailor Scouts to protect the Earth and Moon from the evil that destroyed them before. Serena sets out to find the other 4 scouts to fight many enemies with. She finds Sailor Mercury (Amy),Sailor Mars (Raye), Sailor Jupiter (Lita), and Sailor Venus (Mina). She also runs into Darien Shields who is Tuxedo Mask protector of Earth, who was her lover in her previous life, and Rini was their child. Rini appears early in the 2nd series and lives with Serena. |
