We are happy to make you a part of an important cultural event. In 2007 the idea to popularize Israeli folklore and folklore of different Israeli communities together with connoisseurs of the international folklore traditions united their efforts to set up a new cultural forum - an annual Folklore Festival taking place in Rehovot, the center of Israeli science.   The Festival is associated with many dance and musical organizations of Israel. An exchange of culture truly happens through the efforts of this program.

Purposes of the festival are: 1. to have a cultural exchange between the different communities of Israel 2. to popularize Jewish music and dance arts from all diasporas 3. to present the folklore wealth and traditions of the whole world. 4. to establish a cultural exchange between institutions and collectives

Dance, music and groups visiting from all over the country make this festival a not to be missed event. Enjoy the colorful traditional costumes, find out how your grandparents' used to sing and dance, and allow yourself to take in all that cultural wealth from different regions where Jewish culture has existed.
