This system of Arnis de Mano is base on the 12 angles of attack.  The number 12 goes throughout the system.  There are Six student levels and Six Ranks = 12 stages of the life cycle of the LAMA.

1.   GOLD SASH (Level 2 // Student)

STRIKING ANGLES (“stick”, 6 thru 12)

6.       A rising diagonal strike from your left knee area to your right shoulder area.

7.       A rising diagonal strike from your right knee area to your left shoulder area.

8.       Low strike from your left side at the knee level (opponents right knee).

9.       Low strike from your right side at the knee level (opponents left knee).

10. Forehand thrust (thrust down along #1 angle into opponents left eye or shoulder).

11. Backhand thrust (thrust down along #2 angle into opponents right eye or shoulder).

12. Single hand strike straight down, stepping backward with your right foot.

12-ZONE STRIKING DEFENSES (with one stick);

1.   (Against #1 or #3 strike)  Inside deflection, followed by thrust with butt end of the stick.

2.   (Against #2 or #4 strike)  Outside deflection, followed by a number 1 strike.

 DRILLS;

NOTE:  Blocks you hit two times (right/left), strikes you hit one time.  Three times you block with two sticks and three times you hit with one stick, exception is 1st Cycle. 

Using doubles formula.  Inserting technique at the start of each side of 3 hits such as; diagonal abaniko, high-high/high-high, high-high-low/high-high-low, high high low/ high-high-low, vee cut, and figure 8.

 DOUBLE STICK DISARMS;

1.   #1 Strike, block with one of your sticks, hook the punyo of your other stick behind their wrist and rotate their stick out of their hand.  (like #6 knife disarm)

2.    #2 Strike, make x with stick left stick hitting their hand, your right stick blocking their stick.  Rotate their left stick counter-clockwise to the outside with your left stick.  With your right stick punyo from the outside hit the wrist disarming their stick (like number 5 single stick disarm)
