NEW Globalchart
Greatest 500 Hits
The 500th Globalchart was published on October 30,
2011. In celebration of that feat,
we published our 500 Greatest Hits over the past 13 years.
The Globalchart Top 100
Since July 2004, the
Globalchart had been a Top 100 that has been published on our message
board. The songs in the critical Top 50 had been published and
discussed on our website. As of our August 6/06 chart – ironically,
the 8th Anniversary of the Globalchart! – we began publishing
the full Top 100 on our website.
The Fastest Riser
and Greatest Gainer continue to be attached to the songs in the Top 50,
since the songs between 51 and 100 often move up and down the chart with
velocity. The Highest Debut will be the highest debuting song on the
Top 100. Bullets will be assigned throughout the Top 100. The
peak positions and Weeks On columns are updated to reflect the longevity
and peaks on the Top 100.
The Globalchart
continues to be a true bellwether chart to determine the most popular pop
songs on Internet personal chart sites.
