Meet our animal family.  People may think we are crazy, taking in two dogs and four cats, but we know that they have enriched our lives in ways we cannot even describe.  We can't imagine life without them.

Beans and Murphy are brothers we adopted as 6 week old kittens in April 1999.  They have been terrors from the start, but are so sweet and loving you have to forgive them.

Jacob came to us in November 1999.  He was severely malnourished and had a broken leg, but is quite a fighter and shows no sign of his early injury.  Jacob is definitely the boss at our house - nobody takes advantage of this little guy.

Mollie is a deaf semi-feral cat who became a part of our family in January 2000.  She lived the first several months of her life in a colony of cats in a lot near our old apartment.  She has adjusted to indoor life very well - I think she knows how good she has it now - but is still not completely tame.

We found Sadie along a busy street in Phoenix in March 2000 - she was just five weeks old and weighed four and a half pounds.  How could we not fall in love?  Sadie loves nothing more than chasing tennis balls - and will stay outside for hours just waiting for someone to come out and throw her a ball to catch.

Duncan came into our lives in September 2000 - one look at him and we were in love. Shortly after coming to our home Duncan became ill with Distemper, contracted while he was a stray.   Although he fought very hard,  our poor puppy lost his battle on January 3rd, 2001, just hours after we learned we were expecting our baby.  Because we know that all dogs do indeed go to heaven, we are certain that our little one is being watched over by a very special Guardian Angel.

Maggie May, the newest edition to our family,  was running near a freeway exit when we found her in October 2000.  She is the most loveable and devoted dog in the entire world, wanting nothing more in life than to be near her people.  She weighs 50 pounds but firmly believes she is a lap dog!
