Spring and fall Moves will be approximately one week apart, unless other arrangements are made between the GM and players of each game.

Team Tournament

First round games will comprise the team championship. The seven-member team with the highest combined score will be declared Team Champion. If no solo victory or draw is reached beforehand, then each first round games will end at Fall 1909, or August 15, 2001 (whichever comes sooner). Games will be allowed to complete the year they are playing if they have not completed 1909 by August 15 with a 'drop dead' date of August 31, 2001..

Individual Finals

The Final Round will begin the first week in September and end when an outright solo victory is achieved, or when a draw is declared in the 2 final round boards being played concurrently. The fourteen players with the highest score from the first round will be assigned countries based on their preferences using standard preference list adjudication rules. The total score from the first round will only be used as a tiebreaker in case there is a tie score in the final round. Board allocation will be done to minimize match-ups of two or more players who were on the same first round board or first-round team.

Tie-Breaker

If two or more teams are tied for top spot after Round 1, the tie will be broken in the following order: 1. Highest SC count, 2. Fewest NMR's, 3. Coin toss.

In case two or more players are tied for a spot on the Final boards, the tie will be broken in the following order: 1. Highest SC count, 2. Fewest NMR's, 3. Differential of each player's score over the average for the same power, 4. Coin toss.

The final round will consist of 2 games being played concurrently. Highest scoring player in each game will be crowned individual co-champion. Note that club scoring rules giving participation points just for staying alive or deducting points for NMR's will not be used to determine individual champion. Scores will be kept, but the winner will be crowned based on actual game results, i.e. the person with the most dots wins.

Team Captains

Team Captains are responsible for assigning powers to each member of their team and supplying a GM for the tournament. A Captain can replace any player on his team with another player from his team to avoid NMR's, and may make any personnel changes necessary throughout Round 1.
