I was shocked and overjoyed by the news that Michael Shanks would be returning to Stargate SG-1. I am greatful for his wanting to come back and greatful to the PTB for giving him the opportunity to come back. I do not have words to explain how excited I am about this upcoming season. The two parter Fallen and Homecoming sound like "wonderful" episodes. I am counting down the days until the start of season 7. Although there were at times some interesting episodes, plot developments, and character development this past season 6, I found myself only watching parts of episodes and some episodes not at all. I am looking forward to the new season of recovery and conclusion. I have all the faith in the world in the production staff of SG-1 to make this most likely final, seventh season a wonderful year, hopefully with lots of "team interaction" and plot conclusion.
