Fletcher Darke Photography
photographs by Charles Thomas
This pic was taken in my workroom. 100 speed film will help to hide the support of the model (a coat-hanger bent into a tripod like shape and painted black). The background is "Double Black" illustration board with large holes made by a dart and small holes made by a safety pin. The holes are covered on the reverse side with "Friskit" airbrushing film. Behind some holes the film is painted different colors. The result is stars of different sizes and colors. The board is mounted onto a honeycomb/cardboard frame, so it can stand behind the subject. A second exposure was added of a lightning ball.
