If you can't find what you were looking for, or need to contact me for some reason, you can email me. History and Current Status Zoid Empire, the main site, formed after I made a forum of the same name and a Zoids personality quiz for Zoids: New Century Zero and decided to combine the two with other information into a site about Zoids in general. The coding base originally came from the webmaster of Kenshin.it as back then I couldn't make tables of my own, so with their permission Zoid Empire's base is my modification of their table coding. :) At first I'd planned for Zoid Empire to contain information on all Zoids series, but at that time, only Zoids: Chaotic Century, Guardian Force and New Century Zero were released. I have limited interest in the more recent Zoids series and so will have limited or no information, screen captures, etc on them. I do plan on having a relatively unbiased database on general Zoid models appearing in all series eventually, but am unlikely to ever focus on the human characters and storyline of any animated series other than Zoids: Chaotic Century, Guardian Force and New Century. Legal disclaimer Firstly, this is a completely non profit site, I'm not making any money from it. I don't own the rights to Zoids, or any of the other TV series, games, etc, mentioned on this site, they all belong to their respective companies. This is a fan site made by myself for other fans of Zoids for informational purposes, and to further enjoy Zoids (and the few other things on the site). Companies of Zoids etc, may look upon my site as free advertising for their products if they want. I in no way mean to infringe on any copyrights of those companies, or anything like that, I'm just a fan who likes Zoids. Where did the Zoid Empire forum go? After seven years of trying to get the forum filled with zoids fans, and after a series of unhealing arm injuries, I gave up on running or further developing the forum, closed it finally and deleted it. It was closed for well over a year in hopes I'd get well enough to reopen and run it again, but my enthusiasm for it isn't what it was, and unfortunately it was only ever more trouble and effort than it was worth. I still own the forum so there's always a faint chance in the far future I may relink and restart the forum, or use the forum for something not Zoid related, but it's very unlikely so don't ask. Thanks to everyone who participated on it though, and especally all those who sent me a note or email when you found out the reason why it was closing, still appreciate you guys. This forum is also where the site gets it's name from, me having made the Zoid Empire Forum well over a year before this site appeared (possibly close to two years, I'm not sure) and liking the name, so a lot of history was bound up in this, the choice wasn't easily made. What's a RPG? RPG stands for Role-Playing Game. This can be the kind you buy in a shop (like Final Fantasy), OR the kind where many people gather online to write stories and pretend to be characters, it's kind of like acting in a play, and that's the kind that appears on this site (you can't buy RPG from me, don't ask. The text ones are free to play anyway). In most of the RPG that were on this site you had the option of playing as a Zoids character :) but Zoids: New Era and Nameless Planet Zi that were hosted on the Zoid Empire forum and Nameless MUCK are closed and gone. There are no longer any active/open RPG on Zoid Empire but you can read about the old Access Inuyasha RPG in the RPG archives, and maybe a RPG called BigBot someday there too. Pictures, and fan art? I went to a lot of trouble to make this site so all the video captures I did myself and didn't take from other sites (and if other sites have similar, then it's probably because we're all taking captures from the same episodes). It is illegal to take content from someone else's site without permission (and that includes taking it from this one). If you really want a picture or something (provided it isn't one I made myself, like the site title, or is drawn by me or someone else) then email me and ask! I'll probably say yes, and I might even have a better quality version of it to send you. If you want them displayed on your site I'd appreciate it if I got a mention, and possibly a link back... But, ASK first!. The little running Organoids gifs on the test I didn't make, or capture, but got off a site which said it was alright to do so, so you can have those without asking if you want, just make sure you save them and put them on your own webspace and don't link directly to the image. Fan art is pictures drawn, painted, or whatever, by fans of Zoids. All fanart is the intellectual property of the people who drew/made it, (who incidentally aren't making any money from them, or being payed to draw them). It's not okay to take these for use on your site or whatever else. If you want to print them out for personal use (It would be fine, lets say, to print the picture of Raven and Shadow and stick it on your bedroom door, that's personal use, but DON'T claim they're your work, stick them on your website without asking or anything like that). If you get permission to put the fanart on your site, the fanartist's name must be mentioned, but don't do anything unless you email me (or them) and ask FIRST! If you would like to submit your Zoids Fan Art and have it displayed on this site, please email me! but remember that it must be PG rated. In the RPG Archives section I have pictures by people I don't know, and stuff gleaned from sites that no longer exist. But this information was at the time made for a large amount of people to view/save/copy if they so wanted (providing they don't claim it as their own etc). It was made so that the players of the RPG could involve themselves more in the roleplaying, know what someone looked like, etc, so, for personal/informative use. I'm only putting it on this site because the sites where it was no longer exist, and it's kind of a memorial/tribute to them and the RPGs. Personality tests and Quizzes? These are for fun, they aren't very accurate but at best they'll tell you a little bit about yourself (like who you'd be if you were an organoid, or which character you're most like in Zoids:New Century) but they're not to be taken seriously. They aren't super mind reading academic tests of greatness, just a bit of fun. Treat them as such, and don't sweat it if you don't get your favourite character, or the result you wanted. The Organoid and "Which Zoids character are you?" tests were made by me. If you want me to make more Zoids tests (like, a 'What type of Zoid are you?' one, or a character one for Zoids:Chaotic Century/Guardian Force) then please let me know. If enough people email me about it then I'll consider making them. :) You can copy the coding from both the Organoid and 'Which Zoids character are you?' Quizzes to make your own personality test (as long as it isn't a copy of mine! Change the content and make your own quiz about something else), but not the pictures (except the running organoids), the text, or the questions. These I made! It's both stealing and illegal to take them. What's this, 'Amusing Pictures' thing? There are parts in the Zoids show that are funny or amusing. I've captured some of these and put them up on the site so that those of you who've seen the show can remember the funny things that happened, and those of you who haven't seen the show will know that it isn't all serious. ;) Do you sell Zoids videos/toys/etc? No I don't. Sorry. I write reviews about the toys because I have some of them, and so that other fans may know if they want to buy them or not, but I don't sell them. What are the Zoid Avatars? From 2002 to 2009 this site had a forum linked to it of the same name. In fact, the forum predated the site, as that's where the site title originated from. :) Though the forum still exists it's not usable at the moment or linked to this site any more, and so the avatars I made for the forum are posted on the Zoid Avatars page as a lot of little square 100x100 images of Zoids and the human characters from the zoids series. They're free for use on livejournal or other personal uses but if you take several I would appreciate credit, as these were made from captures I made myself, and please host them on your own image server! Also, please don't upload them all to your own forum, or post them somewhere else for other people to use, or claim you made them, it's not why they're there or what I made them for. You might like to try Amazon.com or your local department store. :) If I find anywhere else to get Zoids from that's reliable/safe I'll post it here, but it varies from country to country and on how long ago the Zoid models were produced.
