' Tis the night before Christmas All through the Wood, Everyone is excited, They all have been good. Santa they hear, is on the way, With toys and sweets Stacked on his sleigh. Christopher Robin went shopping With Pooh They looked in the windows At the Old and the New. They brought lots of gifts For all in the Wood. Christopher knows that they all have been Good!! All of the Wood have gathered around, In the snow that lies upon the ground. They talk about Santa, And presents and things - Of Christmas trees, And bells that ring. Pooh asks if they have stockings hung? As Christmas has just begun! Everyone has been decorating a tree, For each of the friends to come and see. All have hung stockings with great care, In hopes that Santa soon will there. Notes have been written for Santa to see, Milk and cookies left out - Much to his glee! Pooh has left honey, In a small pot. Not all of it though! But quite a lot. Pooh is excited that's plain to see - And has gone and got Christopher's present from under the tree. He wants him to have it straight away, Even though it's not Christmas Day. He looked high and low for something Just Right! What do you think he has got him? This Christmas night. We have Santa Who brings toys on his sleigh, Through rain, sleet and snow, He flies through the day. Through the night he comes quickly - And down the chimney he goes. Bringing toys and books and even clothes. He fills the stockings hung by the chimney with care - And places some toys along side a chair. Pooh and friends are sound asleep Eyes shut so tight, They must not peep!! All of the friends are tucked in their beds, With thoughts of Christmas going through their heads. Dreaming of Santa - And toys that bend, And of sharing the day, With that SPECIAL FRIEND! Soon it will be Christmas Day, And all of them wanting to meet - and to play. Everyone is up to see What Santa has left under the Tree, Pooh and Christopher unwrapping their things - Finding fancy toys, and magic rings. Pooh has come past with a new sleigh - And asks Piglet if he wants to play. All will meet later down near the Wood tree, The one everyone decorated - For ALL to see. This is the end of the wonderful day, Where they had so such fun at play - They are pleased that they had been good, That Santa had come to them all in the Wood. They thank each other for being good friends - And know that this will never end! Memories are important you see, So slides have been taken To show in Christopher's Tree. They hope that you enjoyed your time in the Wood, And remind you ALL - You better be GOOD!!! From ALL of them to ALL of you |
