Kaitlyn's Page
We proudly introduce our newest little dog person, 3 year old great-granddaughter Kaitlyn, who seems to have been born with dog show fever! Already having been seen "training" dogs, grooming, and assisting with pooper scooping, she now tells us that she needs to be in the ring! On October 31st she finally got her chance at a halloween costume contest at the Tulsa all-breed shows, and oh what a ring debut it was! Kaitlyn stole the show when she made a couple of impromptu laps around the ring before Uncle Buddy had to intervene to stop her so the class could begin! The audience roared with laughter and the applause was thunderous, of which only seemed to egg her on! Now asking Aunt Amber for showing lessons, it seems that this fourth generation dog person will be a force to be reckoned with in the future. Cudos to a very patient "Aaron" (Misty-Blue's Forever My Fantasy) for showing his true Collie heart in assisting Kaitlyn on the venture. Below are Kaitlyn and "Aaron" at the contest as Pooh and Eeyore (and to top it off they won first place in their class of 4!!)...
