-"Shane" is our beautiful boy, who has a personality as sweet as he is handsome. He is a big, adorable teddy bear. "Shane" loves nothing more than to lay in our lap (if you can picture that), and let us just love on him. His personality is so laid back, that he is agreeable to just about anyone or anything. "Shane" loves his big backyard, and all the time he gets in chasing the squirrels. Those squirrels don't stand a chance! Did I mention how beautiful he is, especially when he's running?!! "Shane" is also wonderful with our son, David. He is extremely patient and good with all children. "Shane" is truly a joy, and we just couldn't imagine our life without him. Thank you, Lou, and all of your family, for allowing us the privilege of owning "Shane", and for sharing with all of us, your love for this wonderful breed. We are all better for it.-

-Misty-Blue's Dakota Skye joined the Mangus Family of San Diego, California as a nine-week old puppy. He flew from Tulsa to San Diego with no difficulty, and quickly adjusted to his new home. From the moment he arrived, he was part of the family. "Dakota" gets along well with our two children, aged five and four when he arrived, as well as "Roscoe", our male sable collie (who was 11 when "Dakota" arrived), "Ziggy" the cat, and "Zorro" the house rabbit. "Dakota" was, and continues to be, a fast learner. To our happy surprise, he arrived practically housebroken and had obviously been handled and loved a lot by Misty-Blue Collies. He aced Puppy Kindergarten and Basic Obedience and is now enjoying learning the sport of Agility. "Dakota" is very athletic and full of spunk, and yet can harness his endless energy when needed. He is the star of his agility class, and learns the commands and obstacles quickly. He also loves to play fetch, frisbee, and to play "tag" with "Roscoe". "Dakota" is also very loving and devoted to the family. He "protects" the children if they start being a little too strong with each other, and will "guard" them while they are in their timeout chairs. He shows off his herding instinct when he playfully chases the children around on their bikes. "Dakota" sleeps at our feet whenever possible, and hasn't quite figured out that, unlike the cat, he really is a little too big to be a lap dog! "Dakota" has been a total joy, and we wouldn't think twice before acquiring another puppy from Misty-Blue Collies.-

-We are so pleased with "Cookie". She is so intelligent, loving, willing, and compatible - we couldn't have asked for more. She took to "heel", "sit", and "stay" immediately. We pretty much tell her something once and she has it. She wants to do everything right and be a good girl - and she is. It is unbelievable to watch "Cookie" and Kaite on the living room floor, with the floor covered with Katie's toys. "Cookie" never even touches them, even if you leave the room. In the morning, when it is time for Katie to wake up, I tell "Cookie" to "go get Kaite", and she gets really excited and runs up the stairs to get her.-
