The Fans

Without Apolo’s fans, this project would have never even made a blip on the mental radar. We knew Apolo had tons of fans, many with lovely and generous dispositions and many dedicated enough to do anything for their favorite short track dude. So, all we had to do was present the opportunity and let them run with it. To honor those fans who donated and who helped promote the project, we hosted the fan lists below throughout the campaign.

By 12.31.02, 108 individuals had donated money to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington in the name of Apolo Anton Ohno, including these good hearts below.

Participating Sites 
Over the course of the campaign these cool sites joined the team to help support and promote the In Apolo’s Name project by providing a link to the In Apolo’s Name site on their own sites.  The last site joined on the list Sept. 9, 2002. Sites are listed left to right and down in the order they joined the project.

Note of Interest: At one point during the campaign, more than 30 Apolo fan sites were helping to promote the In Apolo’s Name effort with messages to their readers and links back to this information site. Numbers dropped near the end due to site closings.
