A Matter of Evidence

A Sentinel employee ruined by a gambling joint owned by a corrupt politician unsuccessfully tries to shoot him at a political rally. The Green Hornet intends to reveal the politician's illegal activities to the police.

A Question of Time

The assistant of a government researcher who is presumed to have stolen some plans is found dead in a launch and the Green Hornet is believed responsible. Reid sees if he can goad the real killer into showing his hand.

Axford Makes a Deal

A con man gets word that the city council is appropriating money for a playground in a poor neighborhood. He goes to several people posing as a city government representative indicating that the council plans to purchase the land of a friend of his and trick them into buying options.

Bait for a Two-Timer

A Sentinel story on a building collapse due to shoddy construction is leaked to a rival paper which publishes first. Reid comes up with an idea to capture the grafters responsible for the building's condition and make the rival look like fools to boot.

A crooked incumbent loses the election, despite his smear campaign. He then tells the challenger that unless he steps down, he'll provide proof to back up his allegations. The Green Hornet goes to check the validity of the evidence.

A druggist resists extortion by “The Big Four,” so they decide to teach him a lesson.

The Boathouse Mystery

The police believe the Green Hornet is behind the theft of the plans for a counter-nuke device. Having done no such thing, he intends to put the law on the right track.

A friend from Reid's college days is set up as the perpetrator of a faked hit and run. With his long list of traffic infractions, he's the perfect target for such a blackmail scheme until the Green Hornet intervenes.

A recently released con man is hired by a spy to kill a diplomatic attaché and take the papers he is carrying. He then leaves one of the Green Hornet's seals behind so that he'll be implicated.

Someone within the police department is selling confiscated firearms to black market fences who in turn are putting them back in circulation in the underworld.

While investigating an alleged gambling joint, Reid learns that the proprietor was behind a recent armored car robbery. He arranges for pressure to be put on him to spend the loot before it cools.

When Money Talks

Several families that had been on the Sentinel's Christmas charity list have recently had some sudden prosperity. The one thing they have in common is that the husbands are in jail for robberies believed (though not proven) to be masterminded by a shady nightclub owner.

When Time Stood Still

Returning to his apartment one night, Reid is assaulted by a mugger and knocked out. He suffers a brief period of amnesia and when he recovers, he’s disturbed to learn that during that time, it was reported that the Green Hornet had robbed a house and killed a person in the process.
