1. For poetry submissions please send no more than four pieces at a time with name and address on the top of each page and a SASE sufficient for return of work. (Except in the case of e-mail submissions which are gladly accepted.)

2. For short fiction please send no more than two pieces at a time unless it is very short.

3. E-mail submissions are accepted at IMaelstrom@aol.com. If possible, please include submissions in the body of your e-mail. E-mail submissions are made at the author's own risk.

4. Response time varies. Pay is 1 copy.

5. We have no bias towards or against any form or genre, we look at everything. Simultaneous submissions o.k. Previously published, o.k. but you must state the name of the publication so that credit may be given.

6. Also seeking black and white art, photographs, cartoons, etc.

7. Maelstrom is seeking book reviews, send query.

8. Maelstrom reviews poet's chapbooks, send query.

9. All submissions should include a 2 line bio and mailing address.
