POINT LA NIM




Located West of Dalhousie. Point La Nim's post office was originally called "Point La Nin" in 1855. It was renamed Point La Nim in 1862. According to the 2001 Canadian census, the current population is 2,555 (part of Dalhousie Junction).

Its name was taken from Mi'kmaq ananimkik which means 'lookout place'. Point La Nim is located at a point extending into the Restigouche River.
