JACQUET RIVER

Located South-East of Dalhousie. Jacquet River became a village in 1966. According to the 2001 Canadian census, the population of Jacquet River is 1,923.
Its post office was named Jacquet River Station in 1892 after the river next to it. In 1892, it was renamed Durhamville and then returned to being called Jacquet River in 1898.
