INCH ARRAN POINT

Located on the Chaleur Bay, Inch Arran Point was named in 1831 by John Hamilton. The word 'inch' is of Scottish origin and is sometimes used as part of the name for small physical features. It is also a well-known New Brunswick surname.
During World War II there was a frigate built and named Inch Arran for the point.
