5-11-04- Well we are still adjusting to the idea of having a boy. Every so often Madeline will start crying out of the blue saying she wanted a sister. I just remind her of all the fun she will have with her brother. Mother's Day was nice. Micah and I went to Modesto for a few hours while we left Maddie with his mom. We then came back to their place and hung out a few hours with them. We didnt' really do anything exciting...just relaxing. Micah actually felt Gavin move in the wee hours of the morning, while we were chillin on the couch watching TV when we should have been sleeping. Today Madeline had her head on my big belly and Gavin kicked, punched...whatever, in her head and she was so excited...she thought it was the coolest thing. So I am thrilled that others can finally feel what I have been feeling for a few weeks now!! I have bought a few outfits for him...thinking that would help me come to terms with having a boy...and it has to some degree...I know that I love him, I just never pictured having any boys. I also found a very cute bedding set!! So a lot of my battles are coming together!! TTFN!!
5-17-04- Well not much has changed here. Gavin is growing and still kicking, punching, rolling, etc. He seems to be move active during the afternoon and evening so far...which is good since he hasn't been keeping me up at night!! I can do that all on my own. Micah and I went to Nevada this weekend to pick out the particulars for our house...that was fun and Maddie got to spend 2 nights at Grandma Hambletons house...she LOVED her little sleepover!! The drive over and back was fine, I wasn't too uncomfortable...yet. I didn't sleep in the timeshare...between just not being able to sleep anywhere other than my bed and the trains...which ran about 1/2 a block from our room and honking the horn at every block...I didn't get more than 1/2 hour sleep at a time and then it took me forever to fall back asleep. All is fine other than Madeline not going to sleep at this moment and me getting pretty upset about that!!!! I need her to go down so I am now going to have to make her. TTFN!
6-14-04- Well things have been ok. This weekend was Madeline's 4th b-day party and we picked my mom up from the airport on Friday night. Maddie and I had been sick for 3 days and I carried her around that day...which I don't do anymore since being PG. Well, at the airport I went to the potty and my panyliner was half covered in red blood! I call the Dr. on call and he said to stay off my feet for the weekend and call if things got worse. Well Sat. morning I HAD to do a few last things and when I got home there was a little spotting...I stayed off my feet for the rest of the weekend and I have had no bleeding or spotting since. Hopefully I just over did it being sick and carrying my sick 4 year old. I am jsut going to make sure that I don't pick her up unless it is NECESSARY!! I am getting big, uncomfortable and he is sitting VERY low!! Welcome to the wonderful world of pregnancy. I don't remember this happening until much later with Maddie...oh well. TTFN!!
