| Crystalline Tears |
| I can’t hear the laughter anymore It’s all flown past my ears As I stand here crying for you And you just leave me with tears And lost memories of happiness And hopes of love so true But I know that it’s all gone And I’ll never be with you. The ground spins beneath my feet But I cannot feel it move As it takes me to another place A place I want to remove. From my heart and soul I cry As I stand and cry alone. No longer will I hear your voice For you’ve turned me to stone. I’m no longer flesh and blood, Though I still pulse with life. Made of stone, my body is, My heart be made of strife. I stand erect and wait for love Though by it’s been passing – So if you see a statue with crystalline tears – That’s only me crying. |
