I took an interest in Japanese midi's when I first heard an eleven minute long Midi sequence, the midi being called "Roses of pain." Apparently a real Japanese band did it, and the lyrics are as messed up as the name. Had I never played video game RPG's, or hung around people with them I may have missed out on the glory of the Japanese midi. They are my favorite by far for webpages.
