| I dedicate this to all women who have survived the destruction abuse can create, whether it be physical, emotional, sexual or psychological. I applaud the strength and courage it takes to rise up from such destruction. I acknowledge the work it takes to reclaim the life that was damaged. I mourn for those yet locked in the isolation of their pain and fear. I hope for the day when all women will be safe. |
