When I arrived at Pease AFB in the late summer of 1977, I was asigned to the FMS wash rack where we washed and lubed both the tankers and FB's. Soon after my arrival the wash rack became an OMS funtion and I was transferred to Tanker phase. Soon after my arrival, I was "initiated", I was in the cargo area of a tanker when several of my new workmates grabbed me. They bound me with cargo straps and dragged me to the wash rack. I managed to free myself from the straps, but it was too late. They hosed me down with the one inch hoses kept at the ready . It must have been funny to watch as I scrambled around trying in vain to stay dry.  Dave Hendren aka "wildman Wally"
