The Commanding Officers of the Gutter Gate Command are proud to welcome you to

(Also known as the Gutter Beach House)
For those of you who came in late, here's the story . . .
We were all sitting around Gee's Gutter Guest House late one night, with all those wonderful Danny clones dancing attendance on us and catering to our every whim, when Major Abydos started to reminisce about her beach house, and how much fun she had had there. I have to admit, it did sound good! Not that we didn't love the Gutter Guest House, but there is something special about a beach house. Even Major Gee agreed!
Anyway, you know what Major Abydos is like when she gets an idea in her head. Before I knew it, she was denuding the whole base of clones for her construction project. I had to step in there - after the tenth time I had to console some staff member or other because her (or his) clone had been spirited away to work on Aby's "project", it was starting to impact on the amount of work I could get done!
I set Major Cruz to work creating a clone army of construction workers for her, and gently prised the other clones away from her. Not an easy task - Major Abydos has a grip like a Rottweiler when it comes to Danny clones!!
Anyway, once the clone crew were assembled, off went Major Abydos, instructing us all to stay away til she called for us. Fortunately there was plenty going on in the gutters to keep us occupied until she returned, tired and smiling, to announce that the Beach House was almost ready to be opened to the public. When she wandered off to her quarters in the Guest House, her Danny clone in tow, I succumbed to curiousity and checked the base financial records to find out how much this littleventure had cost us.
I was appalled!!!!! Major Abydos had spent almost every cent she could get her hands on, and then some!! I had to organise some quick trips to Gutter and Mirror worlds to fill the coffers with funds - you'd be amazed how much a Danny clone willl fetch on some worlds!
I was even less pleased when I discovered she had convinced Major Gee to assist in hosting the opening bash - but Major Gee ensured me she was looking forward to it. Probably because this was the first party we'd hold that wouldn't result in her Guest House being reduced to a shambles!
A day or so later, the official invitation hit my desk:

I had to admit, it did sound like it would be a good night! And I was VERY curious to see exactly what the GGC were getting for all the money Major Abydos had spent. So the General and I dusted off our un-dress uniforms and made our way to the beach house . . .
