| My MLP collection began in January of 2001. My 4 year old niece had received a McDonald's doll with a Happy Meal. The doll's Happy Meal prize was a tiny My Little Pony. My sister told her daughter that she had larger ponies when she was a little girl and from that point on, my niece constantly kept asking her mother for larger ponies. My sister looked around and couldn't find any in the stores. She then turned to me, perhaps knowing that as a compulsive shopper I would be able to find the ponies. Well, I looked through many stores with no success. I then turned to the internet and found that the ponies are no longer made in the U.S. I then was directed to eBay by a website. There, I discoved MLPs by the thousands and my addiction/compulsion began. Instead of buying 2 or 3 for my niece as I intended, this has turned into a full blown collection for me. I have purchased many MLPs at this point, and I love them all!!!!!!!! Right now I dont't see the end anywhere in sight!!!!!!!!!!! |
