Hello friends ! Let me introduce myself. I am"The Puckstoppa"!
I am a South Boston native of fourteen years after which I had to move to Texas. I attended high school at Fossil Ridge. When I was a sophmore I was the only female on The Penalty Box Panthers roller hockey team. My team won the winter league championship in 1997. The following year my high school, along with neighboring Keller High, held tryouts for a first ever varsity ice hockey team. The two schools were combined and I made the team. The only girl again, but this didn't slow me down at all ! I recorded one shutout and one assist that year.
The next year as a senior ('98-99 season), I was approached by the manager of a AA travel team and asked to play for them as well. I recorded one shutout and one assist again that season. I then graduated in May 1999 and moved to New Jersey to be closer to famliy, friends, and go to college ( biology major&chemistry minor).
I built this website to showcase my two favorite pastimes: playing hockey and watching The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. I have been a loyal viewer of TDS for over three years, and have attended three live tapings so far. I hope you enjoy the deluge of pictures I have for you.
